Waterpowered oat mill, with overshot waterwheel, fed by River Aeron, through leat and pond, two levels, stone built with slate roof, with detached house, barn and pig sty

Compete with 13 foot diameter by 3 foot wide waterwheel and two pairs of grindstones, probably Welsh.

1690 , Cwrt-mawr MSS.
Subject of indenture dated 1804.
Roof timber dated 1891.
Last waterwheel installed circa 1925 by Eagle Foundry, Aberystwyth.
Last operated circa 1946,
Last Miller . David Jones

Stone and slate construction, with sliding sash windows, with roof timber dated 1831, was probably built around this date.

Baptism records show occupied by:-
John Lloyd (Miller), and Elizabeth, daughter Margaret born 1830.
Evan Jones (Miller), and Mary , seven children born between 1849 and 1865

Previous resident said that house was occupied by John Rees Jones.

The mill had ceased to work by this time, but the property was operated as a farm, with eight cows milked.
The pond continued to be used as a sheep wash up to the mid 50’s
